On Friday Xewkija Tigers FC held the annual Christmas Dinner at DownTown Hotel in Victoria. A large number of supporters and members attended this event during which the players gave their Christmas presents to the coaches and members of the committee. During his speech, President Mr. Jeffrey Farrugia thanked the players for their committment shown during the past months and wished them all the best for the rest of this season adding that the team is aiming to add more trophies to the one won in September. He also thanked the sponsors and all those present for being there always. During the event the lottery for the television was drawn with Maureen Attard being amongst the fortunate to take home the 32" tv set. |
